HRRN HAS LIVE NATIONAL RADIO COVERAGE OF GRADE 2 BLUE GRASS STAKES THIS SATURDAY
Coverage to air nationwide on Sirius 219 & XM 201
Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY and official radio home of the Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, announced Thursday, they will provide live radio coverage of the 96th renewal of the Grade 2 Toyota Blue Grass on Saturday beginning at 5:00 p.m. ET.
HRRN’s coverage, presented by Red Brand Fence, can be heard throughout North America on Sirius 219 and XM 201 and locally in the Lexington market on HANK 96.1 FM. Live streaming will also be available on computers and mobile devices on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.
The 1-hour broadcast will include an interview with trainer Kenny McPeek who sends out the talented filly Swiss Skydiver against the boys in the Blue Grass, and a look back at the days earlier stakes races including the Grade 1 Ashland and Grade 1 Jenny Wiley. Bobby Neuman will anchor the coverage along with analyst Anthony Stabile. Keeneland Announcer Kurt Becker will provide the live race call.
In addition to the race coverage Saturday afternoon, fans can get ready for big weekend by tuning in to HRRN’s popular weekly talk show, the Equine Forum, from 8-10 AM ET on Saturday morning. The show can be heard nationally on Sirius 219/XM 201 along with HRRN affiliates in Lexington and Louisville, KY, and is streamed live and podcast at www.horseracingradio.net.
