FLORIDA DERBY TO BE BROADCAST LIVE ON HRRN SATURDAY

Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY and official radio home of the Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, announced Thursday, they will broadcast live from Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida with exclusive radio coverage of the $1 million Xpressbet.com the Florida Derby (G1) this Saturday.
HRRN’s 2-hour broadcast, presented by Red Brand Fence and the FTBOA, begins at 5:00 p.m. ET and can be heard throughout North America on SiriusXM channel 93 with live streaming accessible on computers, tablets and mobile devices on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net. The broadcast will also include coverage of the Grade 2 Pan American Stakes which precedes the Florida Derby.
HRRN president Mike Penna will anchor the coverage alongside analysts Jude Feld and Dan Mason with Bobby Neuman providing paddock commentary and interviews. Gulfstream announcer Pete Aiello will have the live calls of each race.
In addition, Penna and Feld will host the network’s popular weekly talk show, the Equine Forum presented by Red Brand Fence and Keeneland, live from Gulfstream Park Saturday morning from 8-10 a.m. ET. The show can be heard nationwide on Sirius 219/XM 201 along with terrestrial affiliates across the country and is streamed live and podcast on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.
