HRRN LAUNCHES MORE THAN 20 HOURS OF EXCLUSIVE BREEDERS’ CUP COVERAGE TUESDAY
Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY, announced Thursday, an extensive Breeders’ Cup week schedule hosted live from Keeneland Race Course beginning Tuesday, October 27 and culminating Saturday, October 31 with the network’s exclusive radio coverage of the $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic.
HRRN, the official radio partner of the Breeders’ Cup, will broadcast racing’s championship days for the ninth consecutive year. Over the past two years, listeners in more than 60 countries have made HRRN their home for the Breeders’ Cup.
HRRN’s coverage begins Tuesday morning with the first of four Breeders’ Cup Countdown shows hosted live from Keeneland Race Course. The Breeders’ Cup Countdown, presented by Lexington, KY area Jimmy John’s, can be heard each morning Tuesday through Friday from 8:00-10:00 a.m. ET. Listeners will be treated to interviews with jockeys, trainers, owners, handicappers, and various industry professionals as well as real time reports and updates as Breeders’ Cup contenders appear on the track.
HRRN returns with coverage of all thirteen Breeders’ Cup races on Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31 presented by CalDensity. Friday’s broadcast can be heard from 3:00-6:00 p.m. ET. followed by six hours of coverage on Saturday beginning at noon ET. The broadcasts will feature pre and post race interviews, analysis and the live call of every Breeders’ Cup race from Keeneland track announcer Kurt Becker.
In addition to Saturday’s live race coverage, HRRN will present a special Breeders’ Cup day edition of their popular Saturday morning talk show, the Equine Forum presented by Lane’s End, from 8:00-10:00 a.m. ET.
HRRN’s broadcasts will be aired throughout North America on SiriusXM satellite radio as well as on terrestrial affiliates throughout the country with live streaming provided on both the HRRN and Breeders’ Cup websites at www.horseracingradio.net, and www.breederscup.com. Listeners can also access the stream on smart phones and tablets by visiting the HRRN site.

HRRN President, Mike Penna will anchor the coverage alongside analysts Jude Feld and Jeff Bloom with paddock interviews and commentary provided by Sean Clancy, Acacia Courtney and Paul Espinosa.
