Coverage to Air Nationwide on Sirius 93 and XM 208
Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY and exclusive radio home of the 141st Kentucky Derby and 2015 Triple Crown, announced Wednesday, a full slate of racing coverage this Saturday including a trio of major Kentucky Derby prep races. HRRN will broadcast live from Keeneland Race Course with coverage of the Grade 1 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes, Central Bank Ashland (gr. 1) and Madison Stakes (gr. 1). In addition, the network’s three hour broadcast will include the TwinSpires.com Wood Memorial (gr. 1) from Aqueduct and the Santa Anita Derby (gr. 1) from Santa Anita Park.
Coverage will air from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. ET on Sirius 93 and XM 208 as well as locally in the Lexington market on HANK 96.1 FM with live streaming of all HRRN broadcasts provided on the networks website, www.horseracingradio.net. Streaming can also be accessed on mobile phones and tablets but clicking the “Listen Live” button on the HRRN home page.
HRRN President Mike Penna will anchor the broadcast from Keeneland along with analyst Ellis Starr and paddock reporter Nikki Bernstein. Anthony Stabile will be on-site at Aqueduct with pre and post race updates on the Wood Memorial with Jeff Bloom providing live reports from Santa Anita.
HRRN’s Blue Grass day coverage begins Saturday morning with the network’s popular weekly talk show, the Equine Forum hosted live from Keeneland from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. ET. The show can be heard on SiriusXM channel 92 along with select HRRN affiliates and via live streaming and podcast on the HRRN website.
