STEPHEN FOSTER (G1) BROADCAST LIVE ON HRRN SATURDAY NIGHT
Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, Kentucky and official radio home of the Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, announced Thursday, they will broadcast the $500,000 Stephen Foster Handicap (G1) live this Saturday, June 19.
The coverage, emanating from Churchill Downs, in Louisville, Kentucky, continues HRRN’s “Road to the Breeders’ Cup” series. It begins at 8:00 PM ET with the $100,000 Matt Winn (G3). The $200,000 Wise Dan (G2) and the $200,000 Fleur de Lis (G2) will follow.
The evening’s signature event, the Stephen Foster Handicap (G1), with a scheduled post time of 9:43 PM ET, culminates the program.
Host Mike Penna will be joined by analyst Jude Feld on the coverage, with Churchill Downs announcer Travis Stone providing the racecalls. The broadcast airs throughout North America on Sirius 108 and will be streamed live on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.
