HRRN to Provide Live Coverage of Saturday’s $1.25 Million Charles Town Classic Coverage available worldwide on horseracingradio.net
Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY and official radio home of the 142nd Kentucky Derby, Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships will return to Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races for the fourth consecutive year to provide exclusive coverage of the $1.25 million Charles Town Classic this Saturday.
HRRN’s coverage will be streamed live from 4:30-6:30 p.m. ET on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net. The stream can be accessed on computers, mobile devices and tablets by clicking the “Listen Live” button on the HRRN home page.
In addition to the Grade 2 Charles Town Classic, the broadcast will include a pair of undercard stakes, the Robert Hilton Memorial and Sugar Maple. HRRN President Mike Penna and analyst Jude Feld will anchor the coverage.
Penna and Feld will also host the networks popular weekly talk show, the Equine Forum live from Charles Town on Saturday morning from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. ET. Trainer Mary Eppler who sends out Classic contender Page McKenney will be joined by Charles Town VP of Racing Operations Erich Zimny and announcer Paul Espinosa Jr. as guests on Saturday’s show.
The Equine Forum can be heard on select HRRN affiliates and via live streaming and podcast on the HRRN website.
