Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, Kentucky and official radio home of the Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, announced Thursday, they will provide exclusive coverage of the historic Whitney Stakes (G1), live from Saratoga Race Course, Saturday, August 5 and the annual Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Selected Yearling Sale, Monday and Tuesday, August 6-7.
 
HRRN’s Whitney day coverage begins at 8:00 AM ET with the network’s popular Equine Forum show hosted live from Saratoga with interviews and analysis of the days stakes races. The show can be heard throughout North America on Sirius 219/XM 206 along with terrestrial affiliates from coast-to-coast and streamed live on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.
 
At 5:00 P.M. ET, HRRN returns with coverage of the 90th Whitney Stakes (G1) and 92nd renewal of the Test (G1). Mike Penna will anchor the one hour broadcast with Jude Feld providing analysis and commentary. Part of HRRN’s “Saturdays at Saratoga” series presented by visitbarbados.org, the broadcast will air live on Sirius 138/XM 201 and be streamed live on www.horseracingradio.net.
 
Monday and Tuesday’s coverage of the 97th Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Selected Yearling Sale begins both evenings at 6:30 ET. Presented by EMBRACE THE RACE® and the Maryland Horse Breeders Association, the shows will air on Sirius 215/XM 206 and be streamed live on HRRN’s website www.horseracingradio.net and on the Fasig-Tipton website, www.fasigtipton.com. Gulfstream Park television analyst, Acacia Courtney, will join Penna and Feld on the broadcasts to interview consigners and purchasers with comments and reactions to the fast-paced Thoroughbred auction.
