SATURDAY DOUBLEHEADER ON HRRN FEATURES LIVE COVERAGE OF WOODWARD, VIRGINIA OAKS AND VIRGINIA DERBY

Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY and official radio home of the Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, announced a special doubleheader of live race broadcasts this Saturday. HRRN’s coverage includes the Grade 1 Woodward from Saratoga along with the Fasig-Tipton Virginia Oaks and Grade 3 Virginia Derby from Colonial Downs in New Kent, VA.
Anthony Stabile and Mike Beer will broadcast trackside at Saratoga with live coverage of the 66th Woodward (G1) from 5:30-6:30 p.m. ET. Later that evening, HRRN president Mike Penna and analyst Jude Feld will be on-site at Colonial Downs to broadcast the Virginia Oaks and Virginia Derby (G3) beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET. Both broadcasts can be heard throughout North America on SiriusXM channel 156 with live streaming provided on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.
HRRN’s Woodward broadcast, part of the networks Saturdays at Saratoga series, is presented by visitbarbados.org, with coverage of the Virginia Oaks and Virginia Derby presented by the Virginia Thoroughbred Association.
Saratoga and NBC track announcer Larry Collmus will provide the call of the Woodward with Colonial Downs announcer Jason Beem calling the stakes in Virginia.
Penna and Feld kick off the full slate of Saturday coverage with a special edition of their popular weekly talk show, the Equine Forum presented by Red Brand Fence, hosted live from Colonial Downs. Saturday’s guests include trainers Graham Motion and Michael Stidham previewing their runners in the stakes races on the Colonial Downs program.
The Equine Forum airs nationwide from 8-10 a.m. ET on Sirius 219/XM 201 along with terrestrial affiliates across the country and is streamed live and podcast on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.
