SANDY LANE BARBADOS GOLD CUP, XPRESSBET FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH (G2) TO BE BROADCAST LIVE ON HRRN SATURDAY

Lexington, KY - March 2, 2017 - Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY and official radio home of the Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, announced Thursday the Sandy Lane Barbados Gold Cup, the Caribbean’s most prestigious race, will be broadcast live from Garrison Savannah in Bridgetown, Barbados on Saturday, March 4. Mike Penna and Jude Feld will host that coverage, sponsored by visitbarbados.org, beginning at 3:00 PM ET.

The popular “Saturdays at Gulfstream” series also continues with exclusive live coverage of the $400,000 Xpressbet Fountain of Youth (G2), Gulfstream Park’s major prep for the historic Florida Derby (G1) and the Triple Crown. Anthony Stabile and Dan Mason anchor that part of the show, presented by the Florida Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association, with several other surrounding stakes covered during the timeframe, including the Palm Beach (G3), Davona Dale (G2), Canadian Turf (G3) and Mac Diarmida (G2).

The broadcast will be heard throughout North America on Sirius/XM 83 and can be accessed via live streaming provided on the HRRN website, horseracingradio.net.

Spanish speaking listeners can tune in to the Xpressbet Fountain of Youth (G2) day coverage beginning at 3:00 PM ET and all “Saturdays at Gulfstream” broadcasts online at hrrnenespanol.com. Host Roberto “El Potro” Rodriguez is joined by analyst Eloy Vielma.

In addition, HRRN will host their popular weekly talk show, the Equine Forum, live from Garrison Savannah on Saturday morning from 8-10 a.m. ET. The Equine Forum airs nationwide on Sirius 93/XM 93 along with terrestrial affiliates across the country and is streamed live and podcast on the HRRN website.
