HRRN HAS LIVE ON-SITE COVERAGE OF $1 MILLION CHARLES TOWN CLASSIC THIS SATURDAY

 

Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, Kentucky and official radio home of the Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, announced Thursday, they will return to Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races this Saturday to provide live coverage of the $1 million Charles Town Classic (G2). 

 

HRRN’s 2-hour broadcast airs nationwide from 4-6 p.m. ET on SiriusXM channel 156 and will be streamed live on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.  In addition to the 11th renewal of the Grade 2 Charles Town Classic set to be run at 5:37 p.m. ET, coverage will include a pair of contentious undercard stakes, the   $75,000 Russell Road and $100,000 Dance to Bristol.  HRRN President Mike Penna will anchor the coverage along with analysts Jude Feld and Dan Mason.  Charles Town announcer Paul Espinosa will provide the live call of each race.

 

Penna and Feld will also host HRRN’s popular weekly talk show, the Equine Forum presented by Red Brand Fence, live from Charles Town on Saturday morning.  The show can be heard from 8-10 a.m. ET on Sirius 219/XM 201 along with terrestrial affiliates across the country and is streamed live and podcast on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.  Listeners will hear interviews with many of the major players involved in the Charles Town Classic (G2) along with in-depth analysis and selections.
