Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, Kentucky and official radio home of the U.S. Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, announced Thursday, their “Saturdays at Saratoga” coverage, presented by VisitBarbados.org, continues Saturday, July 29 at 4:30 PM ET with three major stakes races, the Grade 1 Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap, Grade 2 Bowling Green and the Grade 2 NYRA Bets Jim Dandy, live from Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York.
 
Saturday’s show begins with the $350,000 Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap (G1) for older horses at six furlongs on the main track, followed by the $250,000 Bowling Green (G2) for older horses at a mile and three-eighths on the turf and culminates with the $600,000 NYRA Bets Jim Dandy (G2), the traditional Saratoga prep for the Travers (G1). That event is for three-year-olds going a mile and an eighth on the main track.
 
Host Anthony Stabile will be joined on the broadcast by analyst Mike Beer of Daily Racing Form, with Saratoga track announcer Larry Collmus providing the race calls.
 
Saturday’s coverage airs throughout North America on Sirius 132/XM 201 and will be streamed live on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.
 
HRRN’s popular weekly talk show, the Equine Forum, kicks off Saturday’s coverage, featuring interviews and reports live from Saratoga, Monmouth Park and Del Mar.
