HRRN BEGINS MORE THAN 20 HOURS OF KENTUCKY DERBY COVERAGE TUESDAY EVENING

Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY, announced Monday they will launch more than 20 hours of Kentucky Derby week programming on Tuesday, April 28, with exclusive coverage of the KTA-KTOB Kentucky Derby Trainers Dinner from 7:30-9:30 p.m. ET.

HRRN, the exclusive radio home of the 141st Kentucky Derby and the 2015 Triple Crown, continues their on-site coverage Wednesday morning with their popular Derby Countdown Show hosted live from the Churchill Downs backside. The Derby Countdown presented by Lexington, KY Jimmy John’s can be heard from 8-10 a.m. ET Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings on affiliates across the country and is streamed live and podcast on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.

HRRN will also feature live coverage of the Kentucky Derby post position draw on Wednesday from 5-6 p.m. ET presented by TwinSpires.com.

Live race coverage begins Friday afternoon as HRRN hosts a 3-hour Kentucky Oaks broadcast from 3-6 p.m. ET before returning Saturday with coverage of the Derby day under-card stakes from 2-5 p.m. ET and exclusive coverage of the 141st Kentucky Derby presented by Yum! Brands from 5-7 p.m. ET in partnership with NBC Sports. Coverage of the Kentucky Oaks and Derby under-card are presented by TwinSpires.com.

Derby morning begins with a special Kentucky Derby edition of HRRN’s weekly talk show, the Equine
Forum, from 8-10 a.m. ET. Listeners can tune in to the Equine Forum on SiriusXM channel 92 and on affiliates across the country.

All Derby week broadcasts will be available on affiliates throughout the country as well as on SiriusXM satellite radio and streamed worldwide on the HRRN website. Streaming can also be accessed on mobile phones and tablets by clicking the “Listen Live” button on the HRRN home page.
