FANTASY DERBY, REPLAY OF 2014 KENTUCKY DERBY PART OF SATURDAY HRRN SCHEDULE
#HRRNFANTASYTRIFECTA Contest Kicks Off Friday
Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY and official radio home of the Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, announced Thursday, they will air 5 hours of programming this Saturday, May 2 to celebrate what is traditionally Kentucky Derby day.
HRRN’s programming begins at 8 a.m. ET with their popular Saturday morning talk show, the Equine Forum presented by Farmpaint.com. The 2-hour show can be heard throughout North America on Sirius 219/XM 201 along with select HRRN terrestrial affiliates. Live streaming is also available on the network’s website, www.horseracingradio.net.
Saturday afternoon’s schedule includes a replay of HRRN’s broadcast of California Chrome’s 2014 victory in the Kentucky Derby from 3-5 p.m. ET, followed by a special 1-hour broadcast of the HRRN Fantasy Derby presented by Claiborne Farm from 5-6 p.m. ET.
Both broadcasts will air on Sirius 219/XM 201 as well as on multiple terrestrial affiliates including
ESPN 680 in the Louisville, KY market. Free live streaming of the Fantasy Derby will be provided on the HRRN website and at www.bloodhorse.com.
The 20 horse Fantasy Derby field showcases legendary Kentucky Derby winners in a mile and quarter test to determine who is the greatest of all time. The field and order of finish was determined by a voting process asking listeners and industry professionals to select their top Kentucky Derby winners.

Fans can also participate in the “HRRN Fantasy Trifecta” (#HRRNFANTASYTRIFECTA) contest by visiting the HRRN website. All entries selecting the correct top 3 finishers of the Fantasy Derby in exact order will receive and Prize Pack courtesy of HRRN and Claiborne Farm. The contest opens Friday, May 1. Entries must be received no later than 5:45 p.m. ET on Saturday, May 2 to be eligible.
