BLUE GRASS STAKES AND ARKANSAS DERBY HIGHLIGHT WEEKEND ON HRRN

Three time Blue Grass Stakes winning jockey Shane Sellers joins broadcast team

Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the exclusive radio network of the 140th Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby, continues their “Road to the Kentucky Derby” broadcast series live from Keeneland Race Course this Saturday with exclusive radio coverage of the 90th Toyota Blue Grass Stakes and the 78th renewal of the Arkansas Derby beginning at 4:00 ET.

In addition to the Blue Grass and Arkansas Derby, HRRN’s three and a half hour broadcast will include four graded stakes on the Keeneland and Oaklawn Park undercards: The Grade 3 Shakertown,
Grade 1 Madison, Grade 1 Jenny Wiley and Grade 2 Oaklawn Handicap.

HRRN President Mike Penna will anchor the coverage along with jockey Shane Sellers. Sellers has won nearly 4,300 races including three Blue Grass Stakes with Skip Away in 1996, Pulpit in 1997 and The Cliff’s Edge in 2004. Chad Summers will provide paddock commentary and interviews.

HRRN begins their coverage Saturday morning with a special edition of their popular weekly talk show, the Equine Forum, hosted live from Keeneland beginning at 8:00 a.m. ET.

Listeners can tune-in to the broadcasts throughout North America on SiriusXM satellite radio as well as on select terrestrial affiliates and via live streaming provided on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.
