8 Hours of Preakness Stakes Coverage Begins Friday on HRRN

Coverage to include Black Eyed Susan, Pimlico Special & Preakness day undercard stakes

Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY, announced Tuesday they will provide eight hours of Preakness Stakes coverage live from Pimlico Race Course beginning Friday, May 18th. For the fifth consecutive year, HRRN’s coverage will culminate with their exclusive national broadcast of the 137th Preakness on Saturday from 5-7 p.m. ET.

HRRN ‘s coverage begins Friday afternoon at 4:00 ET with a special two hour broadcast showcasing the Grade 2 Black Eyed Susan and Grade 3 Pimlico Special. HRRN kicks off their Preakness day coverage with a special Preakness Stakes edition of their popular weekly talk show, the Equine Forum at 8:00 a.m. ET followed by live coverage of the Preakness day undercard stakes from 2:00-4:00 ET, with the network’s exclusive radio coverage of Preakness 137 beginning at 5:00 ET.

The live race broadcasts can be heard on HRRN affiliates throughout the country as well as on
Sirius 93/XM 209 and online with live streaming provided on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net. HRRN’s Preakness Stakes broadcast will also be aired to service men and women around the globe on the American Forces Network. A complete list of affiliates can be found on the HRRN site.

In addition, fans attending the races on Saturday will be able to hear full day coverage of every race provided by HRRN on Live Sports Radio’s available throughout the track.

HRRN President, Mike Penna will anchor the coverage along with analyst Jude Feld. Sean Clancy will provide live paddock interviews and commentary.
