Network to Celebrate 165th Running of the Prestigious King’s Plate

 

 

LEXINGTON, KY (August 9, 2024) – Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY, announced today they will honor the storied history of the prestigious King’s Plate with ‘Woodbine Week’ beginning Monday, August 12.

 

The special week celebrates the grand tradition of Canada’s oldest thoroughbred race while recognizing the most equine and human stars to have won the first leg of the Canadian Triple Crown. Throughout the week, listeners will enjoy replays of past running’s and interviews with top connections on the network’s full platform of shows, as well as on HRRN’s social media pages, website and e-newsletters leading up to the 2024 renewal of the King’s Plate on Saturday, August 17.
