For the sixth consecutive year, HRRN’s coverage will culminate Saturday afternoon with exclusive coverage of the 138th Preakness from

HRRN ‘s coverage begins Friday with a two hour broadcast of the Grade 2 Black Eyed Susan and Grade 3 Pimlico Special from 4-6 p.m. ET. Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY, announced Wednesday they have reached an agreement with all three Triple Crown racetracks for HRRN to provide the national radio broadcast of the 2013 Triple Crown. Having reached an agreement with Churchill Downs Incorporated, HRRN will provide the exclusive broadcast of both the 139th Kentucky Oaks on Friday, May 3, and the 139th Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands on Saturday May 4. HRRN will then travel to Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, MD for coverage of the 138th Preakness Stakes on Saturday, May 18 and return to New York for the “Test of the Champion”, the 145th Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 8.
