FRIDAY’S HALL OF FAME INDUCTION TO BE BROADCAST LIVE ON HRRN

Broadcast to be aired live on Sirius channel 92

Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY, announced Thursday they will provide exclusive radio coverage of the National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Inductions this Friday beginning at 10:00 AM. ET. HRRN will broadcast live from Fasig-Tipton’s Humphrey S. Finney pavilion in Saratoga Springs with a special 30 minute Hall of Fame pre-show prior to joining the induction speeches which are scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM.

The live coverage, presented by Adena Springs, can be heard nationwide on Sirius channel 92 and will be streamed live on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.

HRRN President Mike Penna will anchor the coverage along with analysts Jude Feld and Sean Clancy.

Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY, announced Thursday they will return to Calder Casino & Race Course for the sixth consecutive year to provide live coverage of the 13th Summit of Speed. HRRN’s two-hour broadcast will air live from 4-6 p.m. ET and include coverage of four graded stakes: the Carry Back (G2), Azalea (G3), Smile Sprint Handicap (G2) and the Princess Rooney Handicap (G1). Stephen Foster Live on HRRN this Saturday

Coverage will include Grade 3 Regret Stakes and Grade 2 Fleur de Lis Handicap

Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY, announced Thursday they will return to Churchill Downs with live coverage of the Grade 1 Stephen Foster Handicap this Saturday. The Stephen Foster will be contested under lights as part of Churchill’s “Downs After Dark” program with a scheduled post time of 9:39 p.m. ET. HRRN’s 2-hour broadcast is part of the networks “Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series” of broadcasts presented by Breeders’ Cup.

Coverage will air from 8-10 p.m. ET and include live coverage of the Grade 3 Regret Stakes and Grade 2 Fleur de Lis Handicap in addition to the Stephen Foster. Listeners can tune in nationwide on Sirius channel 92 as well as on select HRRN affiliates and listen online at www.horseracingradio.net.

13 Hours of Live Belmont Stakes Coverage Begins Wednesday on HRRN

Broadcasts will air nationwide on HRRN affiliates, SiriusXM and online at horseracingradio.net

Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY, announced Monday they will begin 13 hours of live Triple Crown coverage from Belmont Park beginning Wednesday, June 6th.

HRRN will host a series of two-hour morning shows from outside the Belmont Café on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning. Each show will feature interviews with jockeys, trainers, owners and Belmont Stakes personalities, as well as up to the minute workout reports and top stories surrounding Belmont 144.

The three “Triple Crown Countdown” show’s will be broadcast live from 8-10 a.m. ET on select HRRN affiliates and can be heard via live streaming on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net. SiriusXM will air the Countdown shows nationwide on taped delay from Noon – 2:00 p.m. ET each day on Sirius 93 – XM 209. Read more

HRRN Renews Agreement to Broadcast 2012 Triple Crown

Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY, announced Monday they have reached an agreement with all three Triple Crown racetracks for HRRN to provide the national radio broadcast of the 2012 Triple Crown for the second consecutive year. Having reached an agreement with Churchill Downs Incorporated, HRRN will provide the exclusive broadcast of both the 138th Kentucky Oaks on Friday, May 4th, and the 138th Kentucky Derby on Saturday May 5th. HRRN will then move on to Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, MD for the 137th Preakness Stakes on Saturday, May 19th, then return to New York for the final jewel in the crown, the 144th Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 9th. HRRN’s Blue Grass Stakes Week Broadcasts Begin Thursday

Series of broadcasts will include Grade 1 Arkansas Derby and Grade 2 Charles Town Classic

Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY, announced Tuesday, a series of four live Blue Grass Stakes week broadcasts beginning Thursday, April 12th. HRRN will provide exclusive on-site coverage of the Grade 1 Vinery Madison from 4:30-5:00 ET on Thursday, followed by the Makers 46 Mile on Friday beginning at 5:00 ET.

HRRN’s full slate of Saturday broadcasts kicks off with a special Blue Grass Stakes edition of their popular Equine Forum show hosted live from Keeneland. The Equine Forum airs weekly from 8:00-10:00 a.m. ET on 96.1 FM in Lexington, KY and streamed live on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net. HRRN then returns Saturday afternoon with a 2-hour broadcast of the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (G1) and Arkansas Derby (G1) from 5:00-7:00 ET. In addition to the major Derby preps, coverage will include the Commonwealth (G2) and Jenny Wiley (G1).

Live race coverage continues Saturday night on HRRN with an exclusive two-hour broadcast of the Charles Town Classic (G2) from 9:00-11:00 ET.

The Blue Grass Stakes and Charles Town Classic broadcasts can be heard nationwide on Sirius channel 93 as well as on select HRRN affiliates. All HRRN broadcasts will also be streamed live on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.
