HRRN to Provide National Belmont Stakes Broadcast
HRRN TO PROVIDE EXCLUSIVE NATIONAL RADIO BROADCAST OF BELMONT STAKES
Network plans 6 hours of Belmont day coverage
The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) and Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN) announced Wednesday that HRRN will provide the exclusive terrestrial radio broadcast of the 2009 Belmont Stakes.
HRRN will provide live coverage of the 141st Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 6, from 5:00-7:00 ET. The broadcast will be carried on multiple HRRN affiliates throughout the country and streamed live on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.
In addition to its national Belmont Stakes coverage, HRRN plans a 2 hour live broadcast of the stakes races on the Belmont undercard from 2-4 ET, featuring the True North (G2), Just A Game (G1), and Acorn (G1). A complete listing of affiliates can be found on the HRRN website.
HRRN will also host its popular Saturday morning talk show, the Equine Forum, live from Belmont Park on Saturday morning from 8-10 a.m. ET. The Equine Forum can be heard on WLXO 96.1 FM in Lexington, KY, as well as free live streaming at www.horseracingradio.net.

HRRN Sets 8 Hours of Preakness Weekend Coverage
The Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN) announced Tuesday, it will broadcast live from Pimlico Race Course beginning Friday, May 15, to provide 8 hours of Preakness weekend coverage.
HRRN’s coverage will begin Friday with the Grade 2 Black Eyed Susan at 4:00 ET, and will return on Saturday at 2:00 ET with coverage of the Preakness Stakes undercard, and the exclusive national broadcast of the Preakness Stakes at 5:00 ET.
Mike Penna and Rolly Hoyt will anchor the HRRN coverage with Sean Clancy providing paddock reports and interviews.
HRRN will also host their popular Saturday morning talk show, the Equine Forum, live from Pimlico at 8:00 a.m. ET. The show can be heard live on WLXO 96.1 FM in Lexington, KY, and is streamed on the HRRN website.
